Cross Country is a sport requiring a combination of individual effort within a team sport.
Cross Country allows all students regardless of size, gender, or experience to participate. The last runner
is just as important as the first runner across the line, with all runners looking to better
their time. By running Cross Country, your child will experience highs in meeting their goals, such as a
faster time, or running a certain distance, and lows, such as feeling tired after practice or frustration after a
meet. Our goals are to instill a love of running that will last a lifetime and establish a winning tradition at AHA.
AHA Cross Country was established in 2002, and students in grade 6 through 12 are eligible to participate. An academic
GPA of 2.0 is required for participation in any AHA sports program.
