American Heritage Academy's award-winning yearbook, The Eagle's Eye, is a totally student-created annual publication that covers events at the school while reflecting on what the students find important, unique and exciting about the school and its community. The Journalism classes publish the yearbook, doing all the work from determining the theme, to designing the cover, to taking the photographs and writing the stories. It's a large project, but one that allows for ample opportunities for developing students' skills in writing, design, interviewing and interpersonal communication, long-term planning, project management, and above all, their creativity and love of the school!
