American Heritage Academy has been involved with FIRST Lego League since 2002. FLL is a Lego based robot competition team. The students are given a challenge to complete several missions on a competition table in by building and programming a Lego NXT Mindstorm Robot. The challenge is released in September and the teams have until December to build their robots; where they will compete in a regional competition with the possibility of progressing to State and then to the World Championships.

Accomplishments
Every year since 2002 AHA has had a team in the top 25 teams in the state of Georgia. 2004 State 2nd place Project/Presentation. 2007 Regional Chairman's Award 2nd Place. 2007 #10 Team in the state of Georgia.
