AHA believes that students in Upper School benefit greatly and grow as young adults from their involvement in school life activities such as academic clubs, sports, student government, yearbook staff, etc.
We strongly recommend participation in clubs and school activities while in Upper School.
Academics (a strong GPA), community service, test scores and school involvement are all indicators college admissions officers use in looking for a well-rounded student.
AHA provides students, with busy after school schedules, the opportunity during the school day to participate in a club of their choosing
Clubs will meet once a month during school. We will rotate our class schedules throughout the school year to accommodate our clubs and not jeopardize teaching time.
