Before/After School Care
Before and After School CareMonday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. -7:30 a.m. Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. After school teachers work hard to provide a safe, fun environment for all students who need to be brought to school early, or can not be picked up immediately after school dismissal. The students are provided with snack, monthly themed activities, outdoor free time, and of course time to complete their homework. The regular scheduled activities include: Little Dragons (PK3-K), Tae Kwon Do (1st-6th), Art (3rd-6th), Chess-(Pk3-6th), Art (K-2nd), and "Imagine That" Science (PK3-2nd). Stay tuned for information on dates and times for the 2nd Quarter. *Classes are subject to change. This year in After School several exciting special activities have been planned. Special one day activities and In house field trips may include "The Butterfly Project" from the Kennesaw State University Museum of History, "The Reptile Wrangler" presentation, "Earth Paint and Fire" pottery fun and more! Classes are monitored by AHA Teaching Assistants and individuals contracted especially for the position of After School teacher.
